Cash Gifts
The most common way to give is through a gift of cash, using a check, credit card or money order. Trinity Woods accepts Visa and Master Card, and we’re happy to accept gifts via credit card over the phone.
Bequest and Other Estate Gifts
Make Trinity Woods part of your legacy through your will or other estate gifts.
You can make Trinity Woods a beneficiary of your:
Will
Personal trust
Life insurance policy
IRA or retirement plan
Mutual funds
Savings accounts
Any other assignable asset
Endowment Funds
An endowment fund allows the interest generated from that fund to be used for the ongoing needs of a specific program in perpetuity. Permanently named endowed funds require a minimum contribution of $25,000.
Memorial and Honorary Gifts
Many families and their friends choose to make gifts in memory of their deceased loved one. Often the gift is expressed as gratitude for the many blessings that have come from the person’s time living here at Trinity Woods. Honorary gifts allow you to commemorate a significant event or an exceptional person who is still living who has had a profound impact on Trinity Woods.
In-Kind Gifts
In-kind donations to Trinity Woods are another way to support our mission. Trinity Woods accepts relevant in-kind gifts of goods and services for both the administration as well as for specific fundraising events.
Stock
Many donors choose to give appreciated stock rather than cash reserves because they receive the same tax deduction but avoid capital gains tax and transfer fees. Electronic delivery of stock shares is secure and the most expedient delivery process available.
